Welcome to the Bit Ads section of the site. What are Bit Ads? These are the ads for the video games that came from what I call the Bit Age, which is the age that ranged from the Nintendo 8 Bit to the Nintendo 64. It is also known as the second age of video games and it follows the video game crash. It is a time when how many bits of power a system had was a selling point (hence the name, bit age). You will find ads here for mostly NES games but also Super NES, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, Atari 7800, Turbo Grafx, Gameboy, Game Gear and more. Some of the best series of all-time came from this era and their ads will appear here, including Metal Gear, Legend of Zelda, Mega Man and Final Fantasy.
