Greetings, gamers. This month I have two commercials featuring the Atari 8-bit Computer line. Specifically the Atari 400. This computer, the younger brother of the 800, may be made for kids but many gamers still have fond memories of it. Here are two commercials, both of which can be downloaded at this website. Interestingly enough, both ads being with the phrase, "Atari is bringing the computer age home."

NOTE: I apologize for the poor quality of the screengrabs, the video clips I got are pretty bad.

Commercial 1
This commercial shows that the 400 can help children learn to speak foreign languages. Here we find a father using the 400 to teach his son French. Not that kind of French, so watch your mouth.

"Come on, son. Just listen to the Ataari."

"Watch me impressed my grandparents with my lingo."

"Our grandson can speak French. Yay!"

Commercial 2
In this spot, we find a father on his way to the office, then we see him using his 400 to check his stocks. That doesn't stop him from sneaking in a quick game of Space Invaders.

"Bye guys. Gotta go the the 'office'."

Working hard on the 400? Or hardly working on the 400?

Ha! Ha! Busted!

Now for the big announcement. When I asked about the idea of a Commercial Vault CD, the outpouring of support was amazing. So, I decided to go ahead with it. The Commercial Vault CD will happen, but I'm not sure when it will finally be released. I hope to have more details next month.
